Season 2009 saw the 99 Kelowna Heat travel not only to Princeton for an exhibition weekend but also to Vancouver (Finalist - Mainland Tourney) and to Calgary (Calgary Cup) for tournaments.  Our own Kelowna Heat Blast May 1-3, 2009 saw 34 teams compete in 3 age groups with 10 of the top teams from BC and Alberta square off against each other in the 99 age division.  The level of competition was raised considerably for season 2009 with the focus in 2010 to continue seeking to raise the bar.
